7 Cruise Lines to Home port in UAE during 2018/19 Season
For the 1st time in history, cruises in the UAE have begun. There is an over-all 7 cruise lines that will home-port in Abu Dhabi and Dubai during the 2018/19 season beginning in November and ending in March.
In what is being called a major move for the cruising market, cruise leaders, MSC, Costa and AIDA will be interporting in-between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, with both being used as ports of turnaround at the beginning and the end of each cruise.
The cruises company Costa Cruises has upgraded in tons in the cruise market for this region with Costa Mediterranean replacing Costa neoRiveriera this year. This will increase its size by over 50% and Mediterranean will be returning next November.
MSC Cruises will be bringing their ship the Splendida to this area; the cruise ship is the largest that has ever offered cruises out from and back to Dubai, and TUI Cruises, the German cruise-line is, returning to the port of Dubai for the 5th year, bringing their best cruise ship, Mein Schiff 4, to port in Dubai.
Cruises by ADIA are organizing their brand new AIDA prima for porting out of Dubai. It was launched in 2016. This is the largest ship in the fleet of ADIA ships and the 2nd-largest to sail roundtrip from Dubai.
P&O Cruises’ very first season in the Middle East will have the British cruise line, normally known as the oldest in the world, bring the cruise ship Oceana to the Gulf to sail roundtrip out of Dubai.
The Spanish cruise ship Pullmanur will sail their first Dubai cruise season, with the classic cruise ship Pullmanur Horizon into the Arabian Gulf for 7-night roundtrip cruises sailing from and to Dubai.
