Horror Chills: Best Horror Movies For A Movie Night
Horror movies have always given chills to our spine when watched alone but watching with a date is something else.
Sometimes horror movies can become the perfect pick for a date night. Most of the times they are a perfect movie genre which makes the couples cuddle with each other out of fear, cling together and moreover, they get something to discuss the movie after the date night. So, here we are with a list of horror movies which might make your date night a perfect one.
- You’re Next
Even if your partner doesn’t have much interest in watching horror movies, they might, of course, have come across the word “Home Invasion” which is exactly the idea in the movie “You’re Next” directed by Adam Wingard. The movie is specially made an idea to make the audience come to conclusion that what might happen next and then suddenly pulls out the rug beneath them.
- Let The Right One In
Vampire movies don’t give you the feeling of romance but the most of the romances are significantly seen in the Swedish movies just like Tomas Alfred’s Let The Right One In which is a story of two children. One of the children is not what she actually seems to be. It shows the romance between a 12-year-old girl and the vampire girl which lived just next to her door. The romance is equally disturbing and heart touching.
- Evil Dead II
The first movie of the Evil Dead clearly represented the trademark style of the director Sam Raimi which was immature. But on the second movie of the Evil Dead, everybody notices that the director’s style has fully formed. It was assumed to be almost same as the first one but this time the director had done something different as right after the five to ten minutes the movie drama starts with an absurdist comedy and evergreen performance by Bruce Campbell.
- Tucker And Dale vs. Evil
This movie of Eli Craig, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil is certainly a treat to watch with your partner if you have already watched the movies like Evil Dead II or Hatchet. This is because the movie contains both the ideas of “cabin in the woods” movies and the knowledge about the characters of the trope. We all have conditioned to watch the same old style group of young college boys enjoying their vacation but this time it was different. It shows two ole boys who spend their weekend vacation on fishing and encounter a cabin in the woods which usually looked like a murder shack.
- Drag Me To Hell
After watching this movie all you can say is Sam Raimi is just perfect for making good date night movies. After a great disappointment of his Spider-Man 3, this movie gave him a bit of relaxation. The movie is a well-oiled and tight thriller one. Christie Brownie is an employee of the Bank and spits an old woman who was trying to get an extension in a loan. The woman lays a curse on her.
