As well as giving you painful sunburn, too much sun can age your skin and increase your risk of getting skin cancer. Remember, the sun is extremely strong in many holiday destinations and don't underestimate its power. Protect your eyes by wearing sunglasses with proper UV filters, and follow the Sun Smart code, as recommended by Cancer Research UK: - Stay in the shade between 11am and 3pm.

Another risk is heatstroke or sunstroke. Keep Hydrated Drink plenty of liquids especially water. Don't just drink when you are thirsty during the very hot summer months. Excessive sweating can lead to loss of salt. Dehydration & salt deficiency can lead to heat exhaustion. So go on, make the next one a water????.. >
