Built in 1905, Argiro Traditional Cretan stone cottage stands in a sleepy picturesque village with views across the Bay of Elounda and mountains beyond.
A stone staircase leads from the street into a court yard bursting with brightly coloured flowers. The living area has the original stone fire place. There is a small equipped kitchen with a dining area. The first bedroom has two single beds and fire place. The cottage is fully air conditioned.
The second floor has the master bedroom with double bed and a terrace with an outside summer kitchen BBQ and dining area with fabulous views of the sea.
Argiro Traditional Cottage can sleep up to four adults and is a tranquil base for small families wanting to relax and explore the area. There are many good walking trails in the surrounding area and the nearest sandy beach is only a 10 minute walk away. The village has two traditional "kafeneions" and nearby Elounda and Plaka have a large variety of tavernas, shops and resaurants.
