Villa Helidona stands in lush gardens, with fruit orchards and olive groves. The private pool has a large terraced area, with outdoor furniture and a traditional stone BBQ.
This large villa sleeps up to 8 people and has been beautifully furnished with Cretan art and antiques and traditional woven carpets.
There are three large bedrooms plus a sleeping gallery, reminiscent of the days when the animals slept on the ground floor of the houses.
On the lower floor there is a large dining room. The living room has TV/DVD and stereo and the lower sitting room houses a large selection of English books. The fully equipped kitchen, contains all the modern appliances expected to make your stay more comfortable.
The tree lined inner court yard houses a traditional Cretan stone oven and the securely covered original well. This traditional villa is a beautiful character residence, close to historical sights of interest such as Knossos Palace,the nearest beach is a 10 minute drive away. The central location makes a great base for exploring the east and west of the island.
