perfect for larger families and groups of friends.

This wonderfully restored large traditional villa is situated 20minute

drive from Heraklion airport and is tucked away on the hill side of the

Northern coast. Villa Helidona stands in lush gardens, with fruit

orchards and olive groves. The private pool has a large terraced area,

with outdoor furniture and a traditional stone BBQ.

This large villa sleeps up to 8 people and has been beautifully

furnished with Cretan art and antiques and traditional woven carpets.

There are three large bedrooms plus a sleeping gallery, reminiscent of

the days when the animals slept on the ground floor of the houses.

On the lower floor there is a large dining room. The living room has

TV/DVD and stereo and the lower sitting room houses a large

selection of English books. The fully equipped kitchen, contains all

the modern appliances expected to make your stay more comfortable.

The tree lined inner court yard houses a traditional Cretan stone oven

and the securely covered original well. This traditional villa is a

beautiful character residence, close to historical sights of interest such

as Knossos Palace,the nearest beach is a 10 minute drive away. The

central location makes a great base for exploring the east and west of
