A delightful secluded and furnished villa with private pool and panoramic sea/mountain views. Located in Almirida bay, Drapanos village.
Markos Villa
The Villa is built on top of a hill which enables you to enjoy the magnificent view, even from the garden. It is surrounded by plain fields, giving you a sense of seclusion and peace. The yard is full of exotic plants, including colorful flowers. In the terrace, you can also find a place suitable for BBQ. Moreover, there is a private pool totally out of sight, from which you have a great view of the village, the surrounding mountains, and the Almirida beach. The pool is also suitable for children as it has a shallow end. In the yard there are also six stretching- chairs and a garden table. The ground floor includes the main living room, the kitchen, the dining room and the WC. In the living room you will find two big couches, sitting 6 people, and a comfortable sofa. There are also a TV (28")and a stereo- CD player. In the first flour there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and a spacious veranda (8m2). As regards the bedrooms, the first one has a double bed and it is also equipped with a TV. The other one has two single beds. Both bedrooms have spacious enwalled closets, as well as separate private balconies, from where you can see the village of Drapanos. In the veranda there is a table with 6 chairs suitable for lovely meals. The view from there is breathtaking, combining sea with mountains. The bathroom is roomy and comfortable, including a washing machine. The second floor is actually an attic with parquet floor. In the attic, there are a bedroom, with two more single beds and a private lounge. There is also another veranda (8 m2), with a table and 4 chairs. The view is truly stunning! The door leading to the veranda can be locked for the kids’ safety. The private lounge and the attic on the whole are cozy and homely.

Living room: There are 2 living-rooms The first is located on the ground floor. you will find two big couches, sitting 6 people, and a comfortable sofa. There are also a TV (28"), a stereo- CD player. The second one is located on the upper floor, sitting 6 people with mountain and sea view. Bedrooms : In the first flour there are two bedrooms, the first one has a double bed and it is also equipped with a TV. The other one has two single beds. Both bedrooms have spacious enwalled closets, as well as separate private balconies, from where you can see the village of Drapanos and the Souda bay. In the attic, there is a bedroom, with two more single beds. Each bedroom is air- conditioned. Bathrooms : One WC in the ground floor , and one completely equipped in the second floor (shower room , washing-machine) Garden: Markos Villa is a safe place for children to play around the pool in the front and side yard of the Villa or in the garden nearby. Around the pool there is a barbeque and a nice garden with flowers and grass. At the back side of the house there is a garden with trees and flowers. You can spend a lovely time there.
Location
The villa is located at the beautiful village of Drapanos (opposite the church), 4,5 k.m. away from Almirida beach. Transfer time from airport is about 35min and from Chania about 30 min. Drapanos is an unspoilt, peaceful and picturesque village. The village has panoramic view! Near to the property (approximately 200 m.) you will find some taverns and a mini market, while in the nearby villages Plaka and Vamos there are more facilities. Almirida with its golden beaches is the ideal base for those who wish to visit the area. It also has a variety of shops, bars etc. The surrounding area, with picturesque villages, lovely beaches, and historical sites consists one of the most worth to visit areas in the island of Crete. Kera, Plaka, Kambia, and Kokkino Horio are some of the most renowned and unforgettable places to the numerous friends. You can enjoy a peaceful walk under the shadow of the olive trees and pictures of pastorals and agriculture sites of life Walk around the area and discover the beauties of the nature having as background the long beach of Souda Bay.

From the terrace you can have a nice view to the pool as well as to the sea and the mountains. It is possible to have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the terrace under the shadow. There are 2 balconies on the first floor and they are covered with pergola. The bedrooms on the top floor have direct access to the balconies having a majestic view to the horizon as well as to the sea of Souda Bay. The view is magnificent and you can relax yourselves in peaceful looking the sea or having a drink at the night time looking the sky, the stars and the moon. The view is a nice combination of wild mountains and the water sea. It's really lovely!

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms in total; 1 double,2 twin and a cot. The property also has single sofa beds located in the In bedrooms on the first and second floor, a double sofa bed located in the In bedroom on first floor. This room gives up to 7 people. villa has 1 bathrooms and 2 WCs for your party's use. Air-conditioning keeps the villa cool.

The villa has television. The music system will play radio.

The villa is really lovely - it was really comfortable, and practical, and with such fantastic views of the countryside and mountains. The village and landscape around the villa are stunningly beautiful. And the food that your mother cooked for us was delicious
- we enjoyed it enormously, and having such beautiful home-made food prepared for us made the week very relaxing for me in particular. It was also a wonderful surprise that the villa was cleaned for us half way through our stay.
