Now it is a beautiful traditional home. Platanaki means "small platan" and was named because of the platan in front of the central door which in the old years was a small tree. Platanaki was one of the places where rebels concentrated during Turkish domination. Gavalohori is near Vamos. There is a bank there and all relative to life in this house In Vamos 4 kilometers from the village there is High Scool and a Lyceum. Under Platanaki ,an idyllic place lives the history of this location. 50 meters away lies the museum of the village
