Our company, "EL SUR, Servicios de Hosteleria S.L.", offers you villas and maisonettes of the highest of qualities in Nerja, Malaga. These villas and maisonettes are fully equipped for daily life and are situated in "El Capistrano Villages", one of the most exclusive Urbanization in southern Spain.
Acommodation
There are villas of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms and maisonettes of 1 and 2 bedrooms. The living area of the villas ranges from a minimum of 70 m2 up to a 150m2. The property comprises a spacious living/dining room, fully equipped independent kitchen and one or two bathrooms. Furthermore, all the villas will have a private garden, porch and two or more terraces.
The maisonettes have a living area of approximately 40m2 the one-bedroom maisonettes and between 55 and 60 m2 the 2-bedroom maisonettes. They comprise complete bathroom and a living/dining room with incorporated equipped kitchenette. Further to the areas indicated, the maisonettes always have a small private garden with porch or/and an ample terrace.
There are several swimming-pool in "El Capistrano", including swimming-pools for children. Spacious green zones. Bars. Restaurant. Supermarket. Laundry. Tennis courts and hire of horses at various meters from the Urbanisation. All the houses are fully equipped for daily life. Our prices include cleaning once a week and weekly change of linen. .
We provide the same services as any good hotel (reception, customer service, maintenance, regular cleaning of your house by our chambermaids, safes, etc.) but at the same time we offer you the peace, intimacy and tranquillity of our villas and maisonettes. Situated between the Sierra de Almijara and the Mediterranean sea, the surroundings are hard to match.
"El Capistrano Village" has several swimming pools. The use of these facilities is included in our prices.
The Urbanisation also has a restaurant, two bars, a supermarket and laundry services.
"El Capistrano" surprises and excites, giving you a truly memorable holidays. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to accept pets in our accommodations.

Several aquatic parks for all the family to enjoy, with swimming pools, slides, restaurants, bars, etc. A Safari-Park with animals from Africa (lions, giraffes, elephants, exotic birds, reptiles, etc) where the children will be able to be in touch with Nature and wonder at its variety. An entertaining Sea-life show with dolphins, seals, etc. A crocodile's park where you can even take a picture of one of your family members holding a young crocodile. A Fairground where all your family will enjoy a great day out. The fairground offers also fantastic night shows with live music.
Nerja
Situated in a unique enclave of incomparable beauty, Nerja offers, among beaches of transparent waters and the majestic mountains of the Sierra de Almijara, a warm welcome to the visitor that comes to its coasts, just 55 km. from M?laga, the capital of the Costa del Sol.
In its historic centre, which dates back to 1487, we find the famous 'Balc?n de Europa' , a viewpoint overlooking the sea, build from the ruins of an old medieval castle. The old city maintains all the flavour of Andalucia, with its whitewhashed houses and balconies with geraniums, while at the same time it offers you a wide selection of restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy the quality and variety of the local gastronomy.
The beaches, among them the famous 'Burriana' (awarded every year with the Blue Flag of the EU), are perfect to enjoy the Mediterranean sun and practice different water sports, that offer fun for all the family members.
Nerja offers a wide range of cultural activities, among which the 'Festival de las Cuevas de Nerja' stand out on its own. The mentioned "Cuevas" (caves) which can be visited all year round, are a real natural wonder and are the third most visited monument in Spain.
Other places of interest
FRIGILIANA
Situated next to Nerja, this small village in the interior, surrounded by immense mountains and shaped by its beautiful little streets of the purest andalusian style, is famous for its sweet vine and its oil. It was a Moorish redoubt after the "Reconquista" of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. The artistic tiles in many corners of its street convey us to the passionate and turbulent history of this unique location, and are well worth a visit.
MARO
Between Nerja and Almu?ecar we find Maro, a little village of approx. 700 inhabitants, whose virgin beaches are the envy of the whole Costa del Sol. Nature lovers can visit its famous cliffs and a charming water spring known as the "Nacimiento de Maro", a fantastic spring of crystalline waters from Sierra Nevada.
MALAGA
M?laga, capital of the Costa del Sol, is approximately 55km. from Nerja . The poet Vicente Alexander called it "City of Paradise", and you will truly feel like you are in paradise when you walk its sunny streets and visit the best known monuments of the city: the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba and the Gibralfaro Castle, and let's not forget the house where Pablo Picasso was born, the international renowned artist.
GRANADA
At approximately 95 km. from Nerja, the city of Granada is a must for the tourist that come to these coasts. Its astonishing Moslem tradition, ever present in its streets and squares, reaches its peak in the Alhambra, an Arab palace of world-wide renown and whose beauty has conquered artists from all over the world.
CUEVAS DE NERJA
The Caves of Nerja are truly a prodigy of Nature, discovered on the outskirts of the town on 1959. The impressive stalactites and stalagmites that form the caves have so far attracted thousands of visitors and have made of this emblematic place the third most visited monuments of Spain.
SEVILLE
Just 250 Km. from Nerja you will find one of the most fascinating cities in Europe. Their visitors will be amazed by its 3000 years of History, its medieval streets, its famous Guadalquivir river and its old traditions. Visiting the 'Giralda', the Cathedral, the 'Alc?zar' and the 'Torre del Oro' - just to mention few of its most important monuments - and going to its famous Arena to see the bullfighting after a typical 'Tapas' lunch, are just some of our recommendations for an unforgettable day.
CORDOBA
C?rdoba, with its moorish style is just 240 Km. from Nerja. The world famous Mosque (now Cathedral) does not fail to impress. This city (Seneca's hometown, among other famous people born there), has been one of the most important meeting points of people and cultures throughout History. You will realise this crossing its Roman Bridge, walking around its Jewish alleys and visiting its Arab palaces and Andalusians 'patios'.
