Fairways Lake Estates is very close to Highway 192 with lots of restaurants, shops and attractions. Our Disney rental villa is about 10 minutes from Disney World and close to all other major Theme Parks. If you are a golfer, the Villa backs-up to beautiful views of Polo Park East Golf Course which entitles you to play the course when staying on the property. The Villa accommodates 10 people and is only minutes walk from the community pool, tennis courts and childrens playground which overlook stunning Lake Davenport. Is there maid service available?
There is an optional maid service available at a cost of $70 per day. This service includes a thorough clean of the villa. All bedding is washed and beds are remade, all pots, pans and utensils are washed and replaced in cupboards. Just leave for the parks in the morning and the villa will be spotless on your return. A great option for busy parents who deserve a luxury break. Just request maid service from the management company during your stay or let us know before you depart and we'll arrange it for you.
Where do I collect my key?
There is a lock box for which our management company will supply you the combination. This is quite a unique situation as the vast majority of villa rentals you'll need to visit an office somewhere in Orlando. As you'll probably be unfamiliar with Orlando this will take time and will waste your valuable holiday time. You will in most cases also be required to return the key before departure. Staying with us is so much simpler and relaxing than many other Florida rentals.
How much does pool heat cost?
We charge just $150 per week, in line with many rentals. Remember you will only require heat in the winter months. Please note that it takes between 12 and 24 hours to heat the pool, so if requesting it on arrival there will be a delay before the pool is up to temperature. Of course, if requested at time of booking the pool heat will be switched on prior to arrival.
When do you advise pool heat?
As a rough guide pool heat is generally recommended between October and April.
Is the Villa wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The villa is one story with no steps or stairs. See pictures.
What if I have a problem during my stay?
Our management company would deal with any issues that arise during your stay. Please only call for genuine emergencies during unsociable hours.
What is your smoking policy?
We do not allow smoking in the villa. We have spent lots of time, effort and money on the villa and would like to keep in great condition. We also find that many guests prefer a smoke free environment. Of course you're more than welcome to smoke around the pool, which is probably where you'll spend much of your time. Smoking in the villa will mean you will be charged your full security deposit - no exceptions.
Does the villa have its own phone?
The villa does have a phone and local calls are free. To make any long distance calls you will need a calling card available at all supermarkets and pharmacies. Full instructions are in the villa.
Who looks after the property?
We employ a professional property management company. They look after the villa and are also on hand to assist our guests.
Are there lots of bugs and insects in Florida?
Like any hot climate there do tend to be more insects. However, a pest control company treats the villa each week. The private pool is also screened so you won't have any problems with bugs during those lazy long lazy evenings.
Are there any shops and Restaurants close by?
Within just a two minute drive there is a great selection for you to choose from.
