Welcome to Hotel Capital San Jose Costa Rica. The hotel has 15 Rooms all equipped with TV Cable, Private Bathroom, Hot Water, Fan, Double orthopedic bed, available rooms for two / three beds. Located in the historical downtown of San Jose. Close to almost all the bus station to travel around the country and outside (Panama, Nicaragua).  

Hotel Capital could be your base for first and last night and transit around the country. We offer you security box, luggage store, laundry service, airport pick up, free tourist information, tours, car rental. We are so friendly, you can be sure we will always try to do our best for your comfort in our hotels. We are environmental friendly;

Double room        £14 per night

Triple room           £22 per night

Quadruple room  £29 per night

These prices are throughout the year being excellent value for money.  Hotel capital has 15 rooms: 11 double and 4 triple.

They also offer a shuttle service (pick up) from Airport to our hotel for US$ 15 (max. four people); if you are interested please let us know your flight number. I would recommend you use our shuttle as some taxi drivers can be rather unscrupulous and much more expensive than $15

You can come to the downtown itself by bus, so cheap (around 2 or 3 dollars per person). You must go out from the airport and take a TUASA RED BUS that would take you until La merced park so near from our hotel in the downtown San Jose. We will give you the full details at the time of your booking.

ENERGY SAVINGS: We save energy drying the clothes, lines, towels using a natural system, we change our building in order to recalculate the air and we designed and installed natural dryers. The consumption was reduced to half. We use efficient bulbs for all the lighting system of our hotel. We have an automatic timer control that avoids using the electrical devices as the electrical dryers on peak demand schedule.

The building is so fresh and the air circulates as well as the guests sometimes do not have to use the roof fans.

WATER SAVINGS: We save water by means of a Rain Water Harvesting System we designed and installed to use this water for laundry.

We also encourage our clients to do not have to change the towels and linen every day in order to avoid the water consumption.

RECYCLING: We recycle all the hand and shower soaps in order to convert them liquid and the being used on the laundry operation.
